With special enthusiasm we pursue the further sporty development of the two-way CART champion and Donutking Alex Zanardi, which lost of his both legs in the year 2001 during the German 500 at the Eurospeedway Lausitz in a horribly accident 13 rounds lying in guidance before conclusions. We had the luck to change a few words with him and got an autograph before closing the pitlane.

Since those days Alex made large progress in recovering and can again run and even again move a champcar by prostheses. In 2003, Alex Zanardi terminated his missing 13 rounds within the new edition of the German 500 on the Eurospeedway Lausitz. Under frenetic rejoicing of the fans Alex submitted a time, which would have been enough to get the fifth place in the starting grid of the following champcar race. To one of the most moving moments in our live it was to see him starting some now. His modified slogan of the formula start will be a part of racing history forever. His first victory during the FIA WTCC World Championship race at Oscherleben in 2005 will be also unforgotten. This bought most of the spectators to start crying.
